Counselling Fees

Each session costs £20.00, which reflects the basic costs of providing our service but assistance with the fee may be available for those who need it (see below). The £20.00 fee includes room hire, supervision for the counsellor, insurance and basic administration costs.

Our service is provided by volunteers who have all attained or are near completion of their Level 4 Diplomas in Therapeutic Counselling and receive regular ongoing support and supervision.

Gift Aid

You may be asked by your counsellor or a member of the Centre staff if you would like to Gift Aid your fee.

You may be concerned about confidentiality being protected. We do all we can to protect this but legally we do have to keep your details in case the Inland Revenue wants to check any claims we make.

To fulfil the Inland Revenue’s requirements we  need to keep a record of all voluntary donations that are Gift Aided. This record will be kept on our computer – your name and address will be recorded and a code, with the amount you have donated. No other identifying details will be stored.

The people who know you are donating in this way would be:

  • your counsellor
