The Acorn Centre has received emergency funding to help the charity deliver its counselling services remotely thanks to the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, which is distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.
It has been 25 years since a group of people, including Jane Brown, launched the Acorn Centre as a way of supporting men and women in the local area with pregnancy-related concerns. The opening of the Centre was first supported by the Sycamore Tree Trust.
