Nuneaton charity The Acorn Centre is hoping to raise much-needed funds with a discount clothing sale at 7pm on 2 October 2015 at Holy Trinity Church, Attleborough.
A clothing company will be selling high-street clothes, including ranges such as Per Una from Marks and Spencers, at discounted prices. Proceeds from the clothing sales will be donated to The Acorn Centre to help with running costs of the specialist counselling charity.
The evening event also includes craft stalls selling handcrafted goods such as jewellery, book folding, bags, homemade jams and cakes. Entry is free to the event, and people are encouraged to bring along friends and family for a leisurely evening of shopping fun.
The Acorn Centre is celebrating 20 years of service this year since it was founded in 1995 to offer counselling support for pregnancy related issues – such as miscarriage and infertility.
Natalie Parsons, one of the Acorn Centre’s trustees, said: “As a small local charity we are always in need of funding to help us to keep offering our vital counselling services to local women and men.
“This event promises to be a fun evening out where you could pick up a bargain! With some great craft stalls, it could also be the perfect way to get your Christmas shopping started!”
