Clothing and crafts raise funds
Thanks to generous shoppers The Acorn Centre raised more than £400 from a recent clothing and craft sale.
The event, which was held at Holy Trinity Church in Attleborough, involved a company selling new high street clothes at discount prices, with proceeds from the sale being donated to the Centre.
To help shoppers stock up early on Christmas presents, a range of craft stalls including jams, cakes, book folding and candles were also selling their goods with some of the proceeds also being donated.
More than 100 people turned up to the event in October and organisers are delighted with the money that has been generated.
"Thanks to everyone who came along on the night and bought items or just donated money to the Centre. The money is much needed and will all go towards our running costs to keep the Centre open to support more people who need our services."
